Learn to Play, pg. 9, states that 'Activate' is an action, and that using a non-Parley/Resign action results in an attack of opportunity if the investigator is engaged.

The 'Activate' for the 'Haunted' weakness card uses 2 actions to discard it. Would each of the actions being used provoke an attack of opportunity, or would the single Activate action result in only a single attack of opportunity if the investigator were engaged while trying to drop Haunted?

Attack of Opportunity

= An ability that costs more than one action only provokes
one attack of opportunity from each engaged enemy.

Well to be fair it's in the Reference Rules document, which can be tough to remember/notice

So it's understandable that some info will be missed.
