Two Words: Glue Dots

Pro Tip: Slowly twist the systems off during clean up to assure you don't rip the back of the system discs.

No frickin' way.

Are you that concerned with them getting bumped slightly out of place? Your game I guess...

Yeah I have to agree with everybody else that's replied so far - that sounds like a horrible idea.

As an after-market refinement, I don't think many of the players would find this option attractive- predominantly out of fear of marring an expensive game. There's a gentleman on the Dice Tower Boardgames Breakfast who specializes in modifying his game collection; if he were so inclined he would probably add magnets to the planets and create a custom metal stellar board to keep them in place.

I haven't received my copy yet, but I am unaware that keeping the pieces stationary has been a problem (until the the Mugato got out of its cage...)

"So I'll roll for hegemony on this planet and then- look out!"

"Get away, dammit! I was about to get my third ascendancy!"

"How bad is it?"
"Don't worry. We didn't lose any pieces and I remember where the fleets and colonies were. What a nasty beast!"
