Wow, congratulations guys! That was one of the fastest KS fundings I've ever seen.

Yeah, I had no idea how this campaign would go. The forums on the geek have been so quiet that I was afraid that funding would be slow. I'm really happy that I was proven wrong!

I thought this was going to be a $150-200K game; now I'm starting to think it's closer to a million dollar game. Very exciting.

Looks like some good stretch goals are appearing too.

I have to admit, I was meh about the game from what I read here in the forums.

But on the KS page, after watching that video, I was sold. I saw how much effort was put into it and realized the creators mean business.

Yeah, I mean I was not too excited about this initially, but it looks freaking amazing! Cool blend of zombicide (with more depth) and cool pulp cthulhu horror

Why did this project fund this quickly? How did they market it?

EDIT: Aha. They ran two or so promotional events on their FB page.

No, plenty of others with minis haven't done as well. I think it's how well the KS page has been done. Clear overview of gameplay, great video, rulebook available, video review just posted, etc. it looks like a CMON Kickstarter. Their confidence inspires trust from backers.

A 24 hour early bird helps, too.

Haha! I see. I wasn't sure if I was being bashed for something. Now, you just made my day! It's not every day you get random congratulations and pats on the back!

Yeah, these guys have really done their homework! Things are really looking good. And the game play looks solid!
I'll go all in on this campaign. No doubt!

With an early bird, some shots of gorgeous minis, and using CMON's kickstarter scheme.

Reminds me exactly of how Lobotomy got their traction. Luckily I'm not dazzled by these tactics anymore, and will be waiting for a gameplay video to see if this game has any depth to it.

For the moment, my guess is it's just another two dimensional Z-cide clone.

Brian, there already is a game play video/review:

Hope this makes you as excited as it did me!

Edit: Managed to mess up the YouTube link. So I fixed it.

Haha! Yeah, I wasn't sure about this game either until I started to read up on it. And the video convinced me that I was right about being excited about it.
I hope you'll be satisfied with your choice if you decide to back!
Edit:
And if you decide not to back (of course).

Hm, one of the stretch goals is a "self destruct device."

Guys, I'm starting to think this game might not be all sunshine and rainbows.

less of a review, more of a paid infomercial.

Perhaps, but it still gives you a an idea of how the game plays. Who cares if he got paid?

I do, because adding payment to the situation turns it into an advertisement instead of a review. You are being told how the game is played, but not being told what the flaws are, what part of the gameplay is broken, what is difficult to understand, etc.

An infomercial tells you how good something is to make you want to buy it.
A review tells you how good AND bad something is. There's a difference.

That's true. But as I said, review or infomercial doesn't matter in all aspects. Both will give you an IDEA of the game play. That's is still better than nothing. But in all fairness you could just go on and read the rules instead of watching this video.
