Double checking this; a cavalry unit (attacker and defender) blown in the French combat phase does not go back to normal status until the end (not the beginning)of the next French combat phase. The same for cavalry blown in the Allied combat phase of course.

I was thinking of making two sided counters that have French1/French2- Allied1/Allied2.

Yes, thats my understanding. Two full turns of blown.

Mind you in practice I feel thats too long and I only do 1 full turn of blown in my games.

So Dotar, and I saw your variants, when do you remove the blown marker? Blown in the French phase- remove at the end of the following Allied phase?
