Subject: Still waiting for order confirmation rss

I was able to grab a game (hopefully) 40 minutes after it became available. I got a confirmation from Paypal minutes later but I still haven't heard from Riot Games (no order confirmation nor invoice).

When I go on their website and I log into my account, I can see my order with a confirmation number (processing).

I'm wondering if I'm alone in this situation and if I should do anything else to make sure that everything is ok!

No, you're not alone. Our email confirmation service fell over and still hasn't recovered. If you have an order number, you're good. If it says processing, then that just means we hadn't shipped it, yet. We're only able to ship up to 2k orders a day.

Thank you soooooo much for staying in contact with your customers. Many board game companies can learn quite a bit from your example on how to conduct customer service.
For your first time at bat in the board game community, you're a fast learner.
I'm not alone when I say, we all hope you produce more games like MvM. Perhaps even something as simple as DLC of new missions.

What if we checked out via guest and did not have an account? So therefore I have only my Paypal invoice but nothing else. I have no clue what my order number is.

I had more problems trying to buy concert tickets online before...so no worries, you guys did a great job! I'm sure it's not easy to coordinate everything in all this mayhem!

I can't wait for you to, either. In the long term, hopefully that experience overshadows your purchase experience. Though I doubt any game is worth the headache that you guys endured when the game launched. Just doing our best.

I also didn't get any confirmation email and I paid with Gift Visa card. Seems like charge went through on my card so I guess I should be ok as well? Sent an email but I haven't gotten any responses back either.

If the charge went through, you should be OK. I am not saying that it's impossible, but I haven't yet come across a case where we took payment and didn't have an order in the system. The confirmation email is doubly problematic because many got caught by spam folders and eventually the service fell over and many didn't go out at all. This is a known, unfortunate problem.

Hi Chris thanks for responding in here. My order went thru but credit card hasn't been charged yet it is sitting in pending status since Wednesday. I also did not receive a confirmation order email so I am wondering if I am going to get cancelled?

Without knowing the specifics of your order, I can't say for certain. The guys that could help with that are over in 'support.riotgames.com'

However, if your order went through, you should be ok. I don't believe we charge your card until we're ready to ship. But again, our support team will know best. Unfortunately, they're a bit slammed at the moment.
