Given Target's markup on Games I don't think this really counts as a "hot deal"...

Not a big deal, but Target offers have been gumming up this forum, IMO.

Am I missing something? Isn't Target usually MRSP?

I can't get the 'strategy' category to generate any games available for purchase-- and I am quickly remembering why I stopped shopping here with all the trouble I experienced trying to take advantage of their last BOGO sale.

These days I'm only in the market for a good deal on Caverna.

Exclusives? You might also be able to price match and then apply coupon.YMMV

Not all of the games are MSRP. They were a dollar cheaper than coolstuff for Ticket To Ride Europe. And just about the same price as coolstuff for Coal Barons.

It depends on the game.

I should clarify.

The second poster said that it wasn't worth it because of Target's markup. But I think their prices are usually MRSP (or less) so this WOULD qualify as good deal.

Zombicide Season 2: $48 after coupon. -- $22 cheaper than MM.

You can also cobble together a couple of games to reach your preferred discount level. Plus free shipping.

Ticket to Ride, regular and Europe are competitive or better than the usual suspects ($37 and $38 respectively). Nordic Countries is $33, ~$4 less than CSI.

Target.com carries a lot of things at fairly good prices, you just have to look.

this would be a good deal stacked with the invite only groupon from a couple of days ago, 10 dollars for a 20$ target egift card. that's like 20 to 35 bux off. in conjunction with well priced games. not the overinflated ones as much.

Good retail coupons get some of the best deals, IMO.

But thanks for trying to be the "hot deal police" anyway. shake

here's my haul, this includes the 25 dollar discount for 100 dollars or more, and the 20 dollar target gift card I got for 10 bux

Evolution the beginning
castles of burgundy
flash point fire rescue
a gel ant farm
aquabeads

the last two are xmas presents for the kids
after discounts and gift card 73.37 which means I paid 83.37

averaging it out, I spent 16.67 per item shipped.
I'm pretty happy with my haul. All games I wanted plus a little side xmas shopping I was going to have to do anyway.

I didn't want to deal with price matching so I went for games I wanted that were comparable to current prices on amazon, MM, and CSI. You could probably get even better deals with price matching.

There is almost always something that's discounted. Often if it's on sale on Amazon it's also on sale on the Target website even without asking for a price match. I'm seeing Sheriff of Nottingham, Codenames, Castles of Burgundy and probably many more that are 25% or more off before this sale.
