Ok say there is one fatty and two runners in a single zone.

I attack with a 1 damage weapon and get 3 successes. Will all three be shielded by the fatty or will the first hit the fatty (do nothing) and the next two hit runners?

Pretty sure they all hit the fatty and bounce off but I wanted to make sure.

Thanks!

The appropriate rules quotes:

Rules p32 wrote:
• Fatties are killed with a 2 Damage hit (or more). It does not
matter how many hits you obtain with a weapon that inflicts
1 Damage. A Fatty will absorb the hits without flinching.

Rules p34 wrote:
The hits are assigned to targets of the lowest priority until
they’ve all been eliminated, then to targets of the next priority
until they’ve all been eliminated, and so on.

You are correct assuming
1. You are talking about a ranged attack (in Melee you can pick your targets)
2. You don't have the Marksman skill
