They are set up sideways and use the tomahawk to shoot (so long as they are in "buildings". If you are in a teepee or forest (I'm not sure about the red rock) then you set up facing forward, so that you get an advantage, and are harder to hit.

I don't think I phrased my question right:
I wasn't referring to a shoot out, that bit is in the rules. I was referring to an Indian shooting out from inside a building. Can't see the rules for it - whether you fire an arrow and a tommahawk and how this is physically done.

This is a good question, that I haven't seen addressed.

I would allow for the player to lay down an Arrow, just as a Cowboy would lay down a bullet, and flick it that way.

I'll let you know, if I think this sacrifices too much control, after testing it.

Hi,

There is any solution for the OP question?
It's hard to take down a figure when laying down the arrow.
