Hi

What are some small footprint rail games? How small can they get? Rail building, rather than just train themed.

Thanks.

I imagine there are smaller games on the order of just cards or something, but Trans Europa and TransAmerica come to mind, which are smaller than TTR, but focus heavily on rail building. I haven't played Ticket to Ride: The Card Game, I'm not sure if it fits your criteria, but it appears to be quite small.

Isle of Trains perhaps? 54 cards

Ticket to Ride: The Card Game is more set building.

German Railways has a relatively small footprint and has route building and stock holding like bigger games.

That doesn't fit my opinion of small footprint.

Got Isle of Trains, thank you.

Not an electronic gamer. Gods, I feel old. Anyway, I like games I can play by candlelight, if necessary, when the power goes out.

Your welcome.

You can also check out - The Great Heartland Hauling Co. - may be larger than you want. Same publisher.

When asking "What would Jesus do?", remember that flipping over tables and using a whip are within the realm of possibilities.

Railways of Mexico? Not very small but I can't think of anything smaller.
