Hello BGG,

Have you ever wondered why no one has made a romantic comedy about board gamers? Well, my friends and I made one. I posted the link to the trailer about a month ago but now the full movie has been released on YouTube. It features the players literally diving into characters from Dead of Winter, Pandemic Legacy, Betrayal at the House on the Hill, Catan, Specter Ops, Codenames, and many more. Check it out below! We'd love to hear what you think!

Hilarious! Enchanting! Great!

And some pretty good board game subjects at the end.

Thanks! Writing it took a month. The prep-work needed took roughly 6 weeks. We shot on about 7 different days spread across July and August of this year. Editing took place August-September. So, all together that totals around 6-7 months.

All of us have jobs outside movie-making and board gaming, so that certainly added time. Everyone who worked on the movie was a volunteer.

Sounds like it's blocked. Guess they don't want you having any fun at work?

Great film

It is good to see that board games have hit enough of a mainstream that creative people can use game references in a classic romantic comedy show and know there is a big enough audience to enjoy it.

Please please please make more episodes!

Very entertaining indeed. I'd gladly see that story expanded to feature length (with the same cast, they were all jolly good ).

Excellent!

Thank you for this labor of love.

I could binge a whole season of this!

...and I wonder if this could catch on as a YouTube Red original series? (I know little about the actual implications of that, other than wondering if it would provide some stable funding for the show.)
