Here is my mod to make game a little bit more balanced:
Max 3 units on tile (characters or enemies)
Enemy chooses hex rotation
Character/Enemy does not block LOS or movement for removing tiles (they do block advance through)
1. Characters actions
Player 3 actions (move or attack in LOS each character)
Tiles are placed AS SOON character moves to the last hex of continous road
Sniper 2 Dice in Line of sight 1 dice adjacement
Close combat expert 2 dice adjacement 1 dice away
Sniper +1 to def roll to units in LOS
Close combat expert +1 to def roll to units on same hex
Single unit on hex -1 to def roll
Hex with blood when moving OUT roll D6 1-3 FAILURE
Attack enemy, only 6 is hit.
2. Remove files (imagine to move characters by 2 and tiles/enemies not in LOS)
3. Enemy actions
Enemy has 2 actions (spawn/move/attack Adjacement hex)
spawn MAX 2 on single hex
Enemy can attack and move ignoring paths
After enemy declares attack D6 roll:
#of enemies x 2 => KILL ENEMY
#of enemies x 2 < KILL one Character (choosen by player)
#of enemies x 2 = Move one Character (choosen by ENEMY)
After killing all charactes on HEX, enemies move to that hex
