I just ordered the battle for zendikar expansion, but this has got me thinking that it might be a bit akward if two players want to play the same colours. I'm curious what others have done to solve this issue without buying duplicate copies of the game. I was thinking about printing off a picture of the card and then gluing it to a magic card and then sleaving it. However, I would imagine printing them off on a piece of printer paper wouldn't look nice.

A while back amazon.ca had the french version for sale for $12 CDN. I already had an english version so I ordered it. I then scanned all my english cards, printed them on label paper, cut them out and applied them over the top of the french ones. The backs were all the same as the english so it looks pretty darn good.

Interesting, I didn't think about scanning. I could scan the original cards and print them off on label paper. I read on another forum that the AoTP cards are the same size as magic cards. The backs will be different but once in sleeves hopefully they look similar, I was thinking about sleeving the cards anyways. Is there a specific glue I need to use for label paper? I just plan on using a glue stick.

The label paper should just be peel and stick

I always purchase the set of 100 as I do quite a bit of Print and Play

Hidden trackable information in games sucks!

I play games for fun and pursuing the goal to win the game is fun! :)

There is no need for scanning, Hasbro fortunately offers printable files on their website for all the units and spells:

They don't have the Innistrad expansion online yet, but core game and Zendikar are there.

The problem remains for creatures, as you work without buying additional copies?

Ya I'm probably gonna need more units too. The expansion should be coming in the mail tomorrow, so i think I'll wait until we all sit down to play to figure out what to do. I'm assuming with just the two games we can play with bigger armies. I also need to figure out how the point system works for building armies because I've never had to build an army until now.
