After reading this, I couldn't help but notice the incredible similarities to Oklahoma's voting process -- with the exception of a much shorter absentee/in-person absentee voting period.

As a computer programmer, i will never trust computer based voting machines. Human readable physical ballots are the only way to go. Countable quickly by machine but also countable by humans with random validation counts and physical retention of the votes for a year. Longer if contested.
