Ty, I think 'slimmed down' should be changed to 'computer adaptation'. New features added but some boardgame/SOP processes might not fit well with crossover.
Too early to tell but our goal is to be faithful to the boardgame while taking full advantage of what a computer adaptation provides.
One item is that the map will always show the current trench lines. Something the boardgame has to fudge as the map shows all possible trench locations which move during the course of the scenarios. Another is that we might not use all the scenarios but that is still on the table. Also the computer/IOS version will have a true single player experience which the boardgame only has a watered down version. Plus the computer version at least on single player will follow doctrine. We are in the early stages of development though so we will see where it goes.
