This is the only look at me you will get. The first hint the bad guy gets that I am nearby will be the sound of the torpedo coming out of his baffles with high up-doppler.

Very cool. Congrats to designer Terry Simo!

The downside is it will probably increase our wait for Cactus Air Force. Ah well -- First World problem!

Quite an undertaking. Best of luck Interested to see what they come up with.

(BTW - the P500 around Cactus Airforce was cancelled)

There hasn't been a digital conversion of a game like this so I'm excited to see how this goes. We have some good ideas for Fog of War plus you will see more of the planes vs generic counters/undetected flights so should be a lot of fun.

Will this be the full ruleset or slimmed down in some way?

I hope FOW ideas means full hidden movement.

Ty, I think 'slimmed down' should be changed to 'computer adaptation'. New features added but some boardgame/SOP processes might not fit well with crossover.

Too early to tell but our goal is to be faithful to the boardgame while taking full advantage of what a computer adaptation provides.

One item is that the map will always show the current trench lines. Something the boardgame has to fudge as the map shows all possible trench locations which move during the course of the scenarios. Another is that we might not use all the scenarios but that is still on the table. Also the computer/IOS version will have a true single player experience which the boardgame only has a watered down version. Plus the computer version at least on single player will follow doctrine. We are in the early stages of development though so we will see where it goes.

I too am looking forward to seeing this in a digital format. I hope you consider doing an Android version as there are more Android platforms around than IOS systems. I just picked up a copy of Eagle of Lille so I am still happy that I finally picked it up. Good luck with the development.

I checked it out and their entire website has "issues". There was a browser notice that the website wasn't online but was being viewed via some cached process. A lot of links that were dead. So hopefully Lordz is okay and not defunct.

I look at the games they have on Steam : http://store.steampowered.com/search/?developer=The%20Lordz%...

Only one game made in 2017. It looks that it is not tested on Win 10.

I have some games from Hexwar, and they come fast with bug fixing.

http://store.steampowered.com/search/?term=hexwar

If Lordz fails, maybe try Hexwar :-)
