BGG says no in-game language dependence, but it seems like the player screens are all in one language or another. Although it may be for flavor, the backs of some cards are language dependent.

What about this game is language dependent other than the rulebook? A player reference screen would seem like an important part of the game. Is there anything else about this game that you need to understand a given language to play?

Thanks,
Lee

As a non-German speaker with a German copy of the game, I can probably answer this.

First of all, the flavour text on the card backs is irrelevant to gameplay and you usually won't even see it during the game unless you flip the cards over for some reason.

The player screens probably do have some useful info but honestly there aren't a lot of actions in the game and they're easily memorized. The biggest thing the screens provide is the chart in the middle that tells you how much income you get and since it's just numbers the language doesn't really matter.

In other words it's entirely playable regardless of language.
