That's a Palm Pilot on the left, and a pink iPod mini on the right. Yes, I've been doing BGTG that long!

I bought a few small/card games at Essen that I now need to ship from France to the US (California). What's an affordable way to do that? I've looked a little at Colossimo boxes from La Poste. Is that the way to go? They don't need to be expedited or quick. Inexpensive is better.

Merci,
Mark

If you can put them in a padded (bubble) envelope, it's the cheapest option (International Letter service from La Poste). However, the parcel has to be maximum 3cm thick (1.18" max). So it only works for small games (or rather, thin) .

Depending on the volume, I would rather use UPS or TNT.
Laposte is expensive and they are not specialized in international, you have to use Chronopost.

Once I was searching for something similar, I came accross Happy Post (http://www.happy-post.com/), which prices do look cheaper than la poste. You need however to go to some place that can take the package from you, but if there is one close to your place, this seems like a reasonable option.

I have not used the system yet though. However, if you use it yourself, I would like very much to hear your feedback.

You should go to BGG.Con, and then you can just hand them to him.

This is what I think I'm going to use. There are a couple dropoff points close enough to my apartment. I think I can use any box I want, as long as I measure its weight & dimensions accurately, and use the prepaid shipping label from Happy-Post.
