Received my game on Monday which I bought from BoardGameBliss.
Two of the yellow wheat fodder pieces looked horrible,
almost like they had mold or mildew, but
it could just be something wrong during the paint process.
Another two show minor signs of similar discoloration.

I wrote to the publisher (info@muecke-spiele.de) on Monday
requesting replacement parts, but
I have not heard back from them in 3 days.

Does the publish answer emails??
Is there another address I should be writing to??
I did just forward the request to info@spielmaterial.de.

Any help would be appreciated.

FYI: I include pictures here of the two worst pieces:

I can't help with this specific problem, but a few months ago I contacted the publisher with a few questions about Lignum. It took them about a day or two, but they did get back to me.

Maybe they're thinking through their reply? Hope this issue gets resolved.

According to your contributions it seems to me you have a lot of bad luck when it comes to components. Hope it gets better.
3 days waiting for a reply from the and posting on BGG is maybe a bit too early imo. For my own part, I could care less about missing replacable components, or a bit damaged ones. But we're all different

You may also want to consider the fact that this is the week after the Spiel, and maybe the people who work for this very small company need time to recover.

Those are the griddled wheat pieces. Designer's intent.

Yes, we are all different.
Maybe pieces a bit damaged do not bother you.
Heck, in some cases they do not bother me.

But I know they bother many people.

I have had people offer me trades only to reject them later
because I was missing one piece or had damaged pieces
or were missing original rules (but had great printouts), etc.

Or they offer a lower value for the game.

Same goes for selling games.
People ask for (heck, they demand) a discount
when buying a game with damage,
even if the damage is slight.

Look at online dealers.
They give discounts for very minor box damage.
And that damage does not in any way affect game playability
nor the look of the game when it is on the table.

Lignum is (right now) a very expensive game.
Should I decide to sell or trade it,
the damaged pieces I received will lessen the value of my game.

Why should I have to assume that devaluation??
I bought a new, mint game, and
I did not damage the pieces.

Sorry this is not related at all to the actual topic, but I can't get over the fact that your posts all look like free verse poems.

I have one wheat piece that looks the same. Wasn't sure if it was mold or just discoloration... also got my copy from boardgamebliss.
Did you ever hear anything from the publishers?
