OK. I have changed the story mode to fit the feel of the game better. Here is how it works.

Setup
Before the game (but this is the last thing you set up) take 6 cards and write the numbers 1-6 somewhere to indicate the card order. Then on each cards write "Goal" and generate, as you would with as other card, a goal from the Goal Table below. Below that write "Reward". Generate three advancements from the normal advancements table. These will be your reward for completing the that part of the story. Now name the story, name each card and, add some flavor text if you like. Now stack them in order with the "1" card on top.

Game Play
In story mode, the victory conditions are not used. You still need to complete your homeworld and techs to win though. You win if you are able to complete all of the story cards and complete your tableau as normal. When you complete a story card place it next to your homeworld. At anytime during the action phase you may use the reward, regardless of what action you are taking you get all of the effects. Doing this does not take an action. After you use the effects, remove the card from the game.

Win/Lose
If you are able to complete all the story cards and have your homeworld and tech complete before any track reaches X, then you have won. On the Civilization card add the story name with the world and techs. Then destroy the story. On your sector for your homeworld or an adjacent sector around your homeworld's sector you randomly generate a Wonder. Move on to the next era. You do not have to stay in story mode in a campaign, you may use or not use it each game.

If you lose then set aside the story. you may try it again if you like.



S1
Randomly generate 4 sectors. Control all 4 sectors.

S2
Settle 3 worlds from the neutral line OR have no worlds in the neutral line

S3
Have 5 cards in your tableau that have at least one Sun ability.

S4
Get Culture to 8 or more and get Might, Stability, and Xeno to 2 or more. All must be meeting the condition at the same time.

S5
Get to 4 or more in both Might and Stability. All must be meeting the condition at the same time.

S6
Get to the Star in Might.

M2
Settle 3 worlds from the neutral line OR have no worlds in the neutral line

M3
Have 5 cards in your tableau that have at least one Moon ability.

M4
Get Culture to 8 or more and get Might, Stability, and Xeno to 2 or more. All must be meeting the condition at the same time.

M5
Get to 4 or more in both Might and Xeno. All must be meeting the condition at the same time.

M6
Get to the Star in Stability..
