After eighteen months of development and public playtesting, Ironmark Games, LLC is excited to announce the release of their new megagame The World Turned Upside Down.

Megagames are an emerging type of gameplay, gathering dozens of players together to interact with various board game and role-playing elements over the course of several hours. Real time decisions and actions lead team objectives closer to completion.

In The World Turned Upside Down players will take on influential roles within the American Revolution. Teams will either control colonies looking to preserve their way of life or join the British forces to stop the American insurrection. Players will represent such famous figures as George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Charles Cornwallis and Richard Howe. Each role offers unique abilities that will help with commanding troops in battle, swaying congress to pass influential bills, or create chaos with espionage. Over four hours players will fight for resources and influence to win the hearts and minds of the American Colonies.

“We are very excited to bring this new and unique style of gaming to our community after so many months of preparation” says game designer Stefan Salva Cruz. Co-creator Brian Stacy states “We really feel megagames bridge the gap between many game types which gives it a really wide audience.”

Tickets are on sale now commemorating the anniversary of British surrender at Yorktown, Virginia, effectively bringing the American Revolution to an end.

The world turns upside down on December 3rd.
