So, they introduced the Panic Room, the Theater (with an omen sign), and the camcorder item, and they didn't think to make a FNAF-themed haunt? Why?

Here's what I'm thinking: the hero is the one who has the Camcorder item (or, if no one has the Camcorder, the one with the lowest speed) goes directly to the Panic Room, while the rest get monster tokens and place them in the Theater, for the animatronics. The hero places a number of pentagonal tokens (representing cameras) around the house, but none in line of sight with the Panic Room, and they're all flipped face-down. Once during their turn, the hero can flip a token face-up, indicating that that camera is active, and any monster tokens within line of sight with that active camera can't move. The monster tokens can only move like one die worth of movement, and they have to go to the Panic Room; if they're in a room with a camera, they can attack it to disable it during the hero's next turn. The hero has the damage tracker out to indicate the number of hours they're trapped there; if it reaches 6, without a monster token reaching the Panic Room, they win; if a monster token reaches the Panic Room, the traitors win.

What do you guys think?

I usually don't care for FNaF stuff, but I'm actually really liking this idea in a narrative sense, because you can keep the hero and traitor roles, but turn them around so the animatronics are the "heroes" protecting their home and the security guard is the "traitor."

The cameras would need to be flipped back face-down at the beginning of the guard's turn, so only one can be "active" at a time.

Perhaps the cameras only affect the room they are in, so any monster in a room with an active camera is stunned as long as that camera is active. The line of sight thing seems like it could be easy to abuse. There would then have to be rules like the cameras can't be placed within one tile of the Panic Room or Theater.

One of the monsters could be a "Foxy" with a higher Speed stat, but can't attack cameras. "Bonnie" and "Chica" could maybe discover new rooms? And perhaps "Freddy" can permanently destroy cameras?
