Let's say a player moves into a region, flips trog token, adds Trog miniatures, and does battle at the appropriate time. Then the Trogs win the battle for control of the region and the player must retreat. Are the Trog miniatures then removed, being replaced with a war party token? Or do the Trog miniatures just remain there?

Also over the course of several battles due to retreats, can there be multiple Trog war party tokens in a single region?

Thanks for the help

In 2 and 3 player games Trog minis are always removed from the board after battle resolution, regardless of whether they win or lose control.

And yes, a region can have multiple unresolved Trog tokens of either type. All tokens will be resolved when a player mini enters the region.

If Trogs win, they remove the minis and put Trog Nest down, not a War Party. Same if they have to retreat to a vacant region. See Page 11 (F).
