What do people think about kickstarting an expansion for a game. And in the kickstarter their would be a javascript demo of the original version. What do people think of that strategy.

Depends on the base game, how popular it was, how the original game was sold. I would also think you'd want a kickstarter tier to back the original game as well for people who missed it.

not sure if this is best forum for you for the audience you want. ie. this is "discussing retailers", you may (or may not) have better luck int he game designer forums...
