Whilst I have very much enjoyed the game so far and the English rulebook is pretty well done it is missing the Character biographies/fluff text from the back pages of the Japanese rulebook. The English version just lists name, age and sex of each character

So behold, with much assistance from Google Translate and a chunk of liberal interpretation, the character info to make your game complete:

Kingdom Characters

Princess Cornelia, 16, F
Last survivor of the royal family of Astoria. She barely escaped the fall of the Imperial City, and death of the King, escorted by a small number of loyal soldiers. Eventually reaching an old Castle by the sea, far from the Imperial City, she raised an army from the few surviving loyalists with the aim of liberating her land. While lacking experience as a monarch, her youthful enthusiasm and sincerity attracted many followers. With experience, she has the qualities to become a great Queen.

Havok,the old knight, 61, M
Once a renowned knight who supported the kingdom of the military at 58 he retired from his role as Protector of the Princess. He led a reclusive life on a small estate on the east side the frontier of the kingdom that had been bestowed upon him by the King. The fall of the Imperial City was quick and he was enraged that he had not been there to fight. A bright and exciting old man, he has become a good counsellor for the princess.

Madam Josephine, the wealthy merchant, 47, F
Born in the southern port city of the kingdom Josephine married the owner of a small shop dealing with tools for shipwrights. However, her husband died young during an epidemic, and thus she was accidentally thrust into management of the business and learned her vocation. Form wholesaler to shipping fleet owner the business grew in the blink of an eye. Trading between the kingdom and other lands offered great opportunity. Rather than dutifully serve the Empire, Josephine put her investments into support of the Princess and raising an army.

Zyne, the shrewd general, 25, M
Know in the Kingdom for only six years, he first arrived at the gates of the Imperial City as a mere vagabond. Fighting as a mercenary his military exploits in battle against the barbarians that were on a rampage in the kingdom at the time, resulted in his promotion to Centurion at only 22 years old. Zyne was a skilled commander and was largely responsible for expelling the barbarians from the kingdom. However, the Prime Minister and other officials that value pedigree did not welcome the rise of this unknown hero. At their request the was immediately promoted to general and given command of the east border fort and its garrison of poorly trained soldiers. It was a de-facto relegation, but it was fortunate; With the fall of the Capitol, his 11th Army border guards marched in support of the Princess.

Annelie, the new strategist, 17, F
A student at the Officer Academy in a town in the Eastern part of the Kingdom. When the Imperial Army attacked after the fall of the Imperial City, As student council vice-president she took command after the president fled. Under her lead, the students and graduates repulsed the Imperial Army without difficulty. In the talent of combat of Annelie is brilliantly blossomed, exercising perfect strategy, planning and command. However, when leaving the battlefield she returns to the original easygoing, clumsy girl such that no-one can determine which the real personality is.

Mountain cat robber band, various, M&F
"Gentleman thief wildcat Orchestra" was the initial google translation, and worthy of sharing!
Men and women the mountains, the bandits set up a hideout near a farming village besieged by mercenaries. The "Mountain Cat Band", do not steal from the poor, but consider themselves gentleman thieves, praying only on the rich such as luxury merchants caravans. Dissatisfied with the new Empire, the band began guerrilla activities led by Chieftain's daughter Farah caring if strong-minded and assertive woman (Otokomasari) and supported by the muscle of Anthony (left) and the wisdom of Norick (right).

Godfried,the temple knight, 32, M
Followers of the Sun God, the Temple Knights belonging to the Eastern Churches are a major force in the continent. The headquarters of the faith, dispatched Godfried and his knights to the Kingdom fearing the loss of their followers due to the invasion by the Empire. Although at peace with the Empire, and reluctant to join conflict, the Temple Knights temporarily joined the Liberation Front under Princess Cornelia to further their interests and believers. Their faith is as strong as the armour they are clothed in.

Urgan, the fortress king, 132, M
The was an alliance between men and dwarves under the King. It recognised the autonomy of the surrounding mines that produce high-quality ore and the mine city governed by Urgan developed with the kingdom. Mirza, the royal guard, 22, F
Second in command of the SS, which had served as a guard of Marlene. SS was a force that has been composed only of women with talent, that was different to the Royal Guard tradition, valuing combat capability over glamorous appearance. However, he could not allow his close friend to cast himself into a reckless fight alone, so they chose to fight together.

Gato, the half dragon, 43, M
Legends tell of a mixed race of dragons and humans in Dragons Reach. Gato is one of the few surviving youth of this race. In order to suppress the ferocity that dwells in the blood of the dragon, he trained and studied with the white dragon Zarasutora. However, in the invasion they were attacked by imperial soldiers and the black dragon Dahaka. Zarasutora was killed and Gato seriously injured, falling into a deep ravine during the battle. Gato's strong dragon life force sustained him and after burying the remains of Zarasutora in the dragon graveyard he departed in seach of the revenge for his fallen teacher.

Donia, the sand maiden, 19, F
A young woman of the ancient shaman clan of the desert sand. Able to read the future from the movement of the stars and communicate with the spirit that dwells in the earth. The night Kyoboshi appeared in heaven, she had a vision of dark clouds covering the future of this land. The vision became reality with the armed invasion of the Empire. Donia slipped away from the clan and backs Princess Cornelia with the divine revelation that her's is the fate of the sun.

Ilsahati, king of the wind, 40, M
The elves are an advanced civilisation living in the forest area called "Lost Forest", their small kingdom granted autonomy by treaty of mutual non-aggression with the Kingdom. Although not involved in the conflict between humans, the autonomy of the elves is threatened by the empire and the imperial army has called upon unholy warriors. Ilsahati therefore consented to temporarily unite with princess Cornelia. Elves have outstanding bow technology, being able to hit targets from a distance without being noticed by the other party; a small number of elves is a comparable force to most armies.

I haven't got round to the enemies yet, and anyone who is bilingual (or a half decent student of Japanese) may be able to offer better translations, though hopefully these are of some use!

Cool, I did wonder if we would see an official version. Glad to see I wasn't too far off with most of the translations either.
