Hello everybody,

In an increasing effort to improve the way I rate games, I was looking to do a paired comparison exercise. In other words, I'd like to make a bunch of 'is x better than y?' decisions and produce a ranked list. Like what Mark Zuckerberg started off doing in The Social Network, or what Qvist does with his Dominion card rankings if you subscribe to the Dominion Strategy forums.

Looking for a tool that would help me do this, I was rather surprised to find there is nothing either web-based or downloadable that will present me with simple 'which is better?' choices and do all the maths for me. Sure, I could create a matrix and do all the maths myself, but that's dull.

Any ideas?

Sounds like what Tom Vasel uses for his. Comments often refer to that as a Quick Sort, but I've also seen people refer to it as a Bubble Sort.

Here are some links which may help [on a practical level rather than a mathematical one]:

Brilliant - just what I was looking for.

I fear the size of my collection proves too much for the second tool, but the first one seems to work fine.
