A cute and chaotic Smash Bros. inspired board game where your whole table is the board!

Players: 2-4
Playtime: 30-60 Minutes
Age Range: 10+
Difficulty: Moderate

Kickstarter Campaign Time: Oct 18-November 18

Tiny Swords Tactics melds the kinetic fun of videogame party brawlers with cunning turn-based strategy. In Tactics, players lead their team of monsters into battle.

Each player leads their own team of 6 tiles into battle. Every team has a unique theme (Spooky, Sweet, Mermaid, or Moon) with their own unique monsters and a team Captain. Players eliminate teams either by eliminating a team's Captain, or all 5 of the Captain's teammates.

Your whole table is the stage!

Players fight over the Heart of the Battle, a magical relic that can grant your truest wish. The Heart is represented as a single neutral tile that players must stay connected to at all times. A tile is connected if it touches the side of the Heart or another tile connected to the Heart. At the same time, players want to push their opponents' tiles as far away as possible. They can do this by flipping, moving, and fighting. Moving and flipping push tiles in specific directions, forcing players

Every time a tile is fought, they gain damage represented with pink Damage Tokens. After taking damage, the attacked tile is pushed away one space for each of their TOTAL Damage Tokens. If you can push your friends' tiles off the table edge, they are instantly KO'd!

On top of this, every team's Captain has game-changing abilities. Skills include Spooky Captain's Jumpscare, which lets you flip over face-down tiles to damage them, or Moon's Lunar Phase, which lets you choose which tiles to power up from everyone's team. With enough funds I can start playtesting and developing even more of these teams, to keep adding more to the brawl!
