People are throwing buckets of money at them. They really haven't any incentive to slow down or meet delivery goals.
Well they kind of want people to continue to throw money at them...so the do have incentive to meet delivery goals and keep people happy if they want their business to continue to grow.
Yes, but the thing is that they end up several months behind on every project with little to no communication, and people still throw money at them. For every 1 or 2 customers that they piss off, 5 more join the party. They really do have no reason to change the way that they are doing things until they finally get to a game that doesn't make them millions of dollars in KS pledges.
AND!!,,,don't forget while we wait usually months if not longer after the "estimated" date to get our stuff..our money is in their bank account making a big healthy profit in interest!. that's why a lot of the big game companies have now jumped on it.they can hold onto the money then at the last minute release it to the manufadturers to produce the items..probably one of the reasons they are nearly always "well late"
