They're accredited for things like business, law, engineering. Nothing about history or anything that proves the bible wrong.

Whenever I spotted a resume from a candidate that attended Liberty U - trash. Proves poor decision making.

You admit that about your decision making skills?

Perhaps you aren't the pinhead I made you out.

Recognizing your faults is a good first step.

Diversity matters up to the point where someone believes in God?
Interesting.
How, inclusive and tolerant of you...

Nope... if you choose to attend this "school", you obviously exhibit poor judgement.

I could care less about what other's believe - their journey, not mine.

Discriminating against people who went to a fourth-rate school is not.

Oh, it isn't about the fact that they attended a religious university, just that they attended THAT "school".

There are many religiously affiliated schools from which we accepted candidates, but I can see how nuanced decisions get smashed under the heavy, tired foot of some.

Many years ago, I worked at a UK (Russell Group) university for a while. They had a list, entitled "Institutions of Dubious Standing", used to help evaluate admissions, and which included (from around the world) out-and-out fraudulent degree-by-mail organisations, but also full- and part-time colleges where the academic quality was considered decidedly dodgy. Liberty University was on it. Don't know if it still is, this was nearly 30 years ago...

Of all the valid criticisms of the Bible, this one is just stupid. The passage is using rough numbers and pi is to first order 3.

Notre Dame or BYU are religious universities. Liberty U is a religious sham of a university. There's a fundamental difference.

I have read quite a bit of the Bible (not all of it, but I am trying). However, I have yet to find the "Biblical definition of PI". Perhaps it is in the Catholic Apocrypha, and I have therefore not seen it.

Can YOU tell me where I can find it?

EDIT: Never mind, I found it. (1 Kings 7:23 and 2 Chronicles 4:2) Fascinating!
