What music do you listen to while you're painting board game miniatures?

Here are some recent things we've listened to while painting our figures:

Leonard Cohen (specifically the new album "You Want It Darker")
The Phantom of The Opera
Leon Redbone
Pentangle
Sharon Jones (specifically "It's a holiday soul party")
Charles Bradley
Ween (also The Dean Ween Group new album)
Dr. Hook

What are you listening to while you paint?

i usually watch netflix while painting. I'm into documentaries so it's easy to listen to them while painting.

Whatever you do don't watch Action Bronson Watches Ancient Aliens while painting miniatures. I made that mistake. Makes Land of the Lost look like a documentary...........yuk

It varies depending on my mood. Sometimes I listen to the Two Bards podcast, sometimes Grateful Dead Concert recordings, sometimes inspirational CD's, sometimes 70's space rock, sometimes pirate radio.

Wagner's Ring--more than 15 hours. You can sling a lot of paint in that time.

I used to do our taxes to Siegfried, one of the four Ring operas, but they are too complicated now to do in one sitting.

I was pretty sure I wouldn't get any thumbs for this.

I don´t listen to anything when I paint. I tend to paint late at night and into the early morning, and quickly discovered that I like to enjoy the silence, it makes it very easy to stand perfectly still and keep your movements precise, and it's quite relaxing.

I listen to podcasts and music pretty much all day at work, so it's actually a nice change of pace for me.

The same kind of music I listen to when I'm not painting board game miniatures.

So basically a combination of metal shearing noises and rhythmic screaming.

Sounds like HammEmit, without the rhythmic part.
