Think Iron Chef, "The Secret Ingredient is...!" and Apples to Apples, and you have Social Cooking.

It's been a scramble, but with the generous support of our backers, we've made it to our modest goal. We want to make sure any interested followers on BGG have a chance to visit the Social Cooking Kickstarter project before it closes. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1012997627/social-cooki...

In Social Cooking, a judge reveals a secret ingredient and all other players (the cooks) add in ingredients (face down) to create a scrumptious meal. Chosen ingredients return to cooks as points for the game's end. After all players have played the role of judge, the points are totaled, and the player with the most chosen food items wins!

Social Cooking is picture based and cute. Kids love it and adults playing without kids can show off their culinary expertise for the more seasoned palates. Throughout the game, all players are activating their taste buds, creating mixtures that are delicious, a little funky, out right disgusting, or even new and never before tasted.

We spent months interviewing and surveying gamers and non-gamers to find some common interests in the area of entertainment. We also asked non-gamers what it would take to pick up gaming. One common interest among the most amount of people was eating and cooking. We also found non-gamers want games that are simple but fun and games that can be play with kids and truly be enjoyed. Social Cooking was created to meet these and other demands.

The game supports gameplay with 3-4 players but can be expanded an additional 4 players with each deck added.

We're really excited about this game and the joy we have seen in groups cooking together in Social Cooking. Thank you for taking a moment to check out this introduction to Social Cooking!
