Leave it to the responsible Republican to warn them of the dangers in leaving the Democrats in charge of you city for 60 years.

Oh wait, are you saying it was a bad thing to warn them of the dangers in lead poising ?

So, being 'responsible' under his 'blinder/blunder-watch' WITH 'causation' for thus, then you're saying he is GUILTY!

You cannot be this dumb in real life right? This has to be an act... Their water was fine until the republicans took over.

OMG inform yourself. The lead pipes were a product of private enterprise and were relatively harmless until Governor McFucknut tried to save a minuscule amount of money. Then the shit hits the fan and Gov. Turdburgler covers up his in competence.

Well the water was fine, but Flint couldn't afford it.

So the republican solution was to just poison its citizens. Umm, yeah, this is why that party needs to die.

To be fair, the plan wasn't to poison anyone, properly treated, the Flint River water would have been fine and cheaper.

However, due to two or three different levels of government trying to oversee the water regulations and some actual malfeasance (not apparently ordered by anyone in the government), the necessary softening (because I can't come up with actual term) of the water was not done which led to the problem.

Now they're stuck using expensive Detroit water forever because suggesting changing to a cheaper source will be anathema for the foreseeable future.
