Our boardgame night is Monday, Halloween. I need to think up a Halloween based Battlestations scenario.

Anyone got any hot tips?

One idea I had was letting each player wear a race costume and get to use that races special ability once during the mission.

Interrupt the game every five minutes for a candy break?

Haunted ship?

Monster hunting scenario?

Ship infested with little characters? No killing.

Nice ideas! I think Im going to go with a haunted ship.

And maybe an alien ship that flys in to 'Trick or Treats' them.

Check out the mission "Ghost Ship" in the 2.0 Quick Start Guide. Might give you a good template to start with

I read the Ghost Ship mission.
But one thing that confuses me is the Overwhelming Success line.

Overwhelming Success
As above and rescue a survivor and/or activate the clone
of a lost crew.

Ive never seen any rules on how to 'active a clone'. And it says there was one crew member that had his clone activate (presumably the one you have to rescue)

Am I to understand clones activate right on the ship...or maybe that is a 2.0 thing?

This is likely too late to help you, but the idea is that clones activate instantly upon the death of the currently-living being they were cloned from.

In this case only one clone activated, so the rest of the crew's "life force" must be trapped somehow. (Finding out how to free them is part of the mission that I won't give away here in case there's potential players reading, but under normal circumstances the way to activate a clone is to kill the original).
