As a primarily solitaire player, I have found that I really like having a range of "win levels" to compare my scores against, rather than just trying to beat my own highest score. What I mean by this is something along the lines of, e.g.: 90-99: You're finally beginning to learn Viking ways; 100-109: You have attained full Viking status; 110-119: You have now been acclaimed as a true Viking Warrior; ...and so on.
So -- has anyone more experienced with this great game come up with a viable range of such "win levels"? I'm still "learning Viking ways," so I'm not yet clear on what the optimal ranges of scores (nor the best Viking-themed descriptors for each range) would be.
The rule book states that a score of 100 in the solo long game is a good score, so you could use that as a baseline I suppose. My first solo game was 45, my second solo game was 84. My third game was a 4-player game where I scored 96. I've gotten better every game, but I haven't broken 100 yet whether solo or multiplayer. In the four player game I played the winner got 136 points, so that's the best score I've seen thus far. It was his 11th game.
