I couldn't find this in the rules or appendix (but may well have missed it).

The reverse side of the thing penalty (which you get for failing to host a feast) shows different random goods (ore, wood, etc). What is this for? I thought that the thing penalty just cost you 3 points at the end of the game. Thanks!

Multiplier tokens if any of the displayed goods run out. If you are getting so many Þing penalties, you probably won't run out of components

Just found it on p22, they are just stand in resources in case you run out.
