The way we've played it so far, we've treated all Nazgûl as if they were Leaders, and not Minions. This had come up several times, due to some Combat Card effects.

However, here's the text from WoME:

"Move Minions. Move all Nazgûl (including the Witch-king) anywhere on the map (except into a region that contains a Stronghold controlled by the Free Peoples, unless a Shadow Army is besieging it). Move other Minions according to their Level."

Is this an error in the rulebook, or has there been some ruling that the Nazgûl (apart from the Witch-king) should for gameplay puproses be treated as Minions too?

Nazgûl are not Minions but the Action taken is called "Move Minions", you also get to move your Nazgûl when performing this action.

That is really a badly worded paragraph that will serve to confuse players. It should be noted in future errata.

It's worded mostly the same as in the original rule book (meaning, it was always called 'move minions' even though it was mostly to move Nazgul).

The difference is that it only referred to the Mouth of Sauron rather than 'other minions' because he was the only minion in the base game who was able to move but not a Nazgul. The wording was presumably changed to include the Balrog and Gothmog from LOME.

The word 'other' is the main thing that seems a bit misleading, removing it should avoid any possible confusion.

I think it says "other" because of the Witch King, which is a minion and a nazgul.

I agree that the wording is not ideal. Consider:

Move Companions: Moves Companions, but does NOT move Free People's Leaders.
Move Minions: Moves Minions, AND also moves Shadow Player Nazgul leaders.

There are differences of course (Nazgul fly and Free People leaders plod along on horses, or warponies in the case of Dwarven Elites) but the comparison is open to cause a little bit of confusion. Anyway, the above is the designers intent; it's not that confusing and not difficult to remember the difference.

Yep, agree that not including the word "other" there would have been good.

Nazgul are not Minions. Nazgul are Nazgul. And Dwarves march, they do not ride.

See David's point above about the use of the word "other" (which does implies that Nazgul are Minions). Hence the confusion of the original poster. It was a fair point for the poster to bring up.

Tolkien disagrees on the Dwarf point, as he had the Dwarves riding ponies at times, but what does Tolkien know (please refer to a book called "The Hobbit" on this point, it's in most good bookshops!).

Well, I detected a hint of snark there, so thought I'd have a laugh. Hope you are doing good and hopefully another game soon!
