What is the individual playtime for each scenario?

The BGG listing of 240-1200 minutes is less than helpful. If anybody has experience (or knows from another source), I'd appreciate it!

It also says 2 to 10 hours. 4 scenarios and 2 of those are only 2 turns each.

That only adds to the confusion. Hopefully someone can chime in with their knowledge.

I'd go with the 2-10. Its a normal sized game, only 100-130 units per side. 1 or 2 maps, 2 to 6 turns. Its a fast moving game system.

Yes, but 2-10 is a very wide estimate, especially given the size of the various scenarios.

As is usually the case with most (if not all) historical conflict simulations it will depend in large measure on the speed of the players -- how thoughtful are they -- how familiar are they with the simulation. The human variables are the key to your question.

I've just got this on my table for the first time.

There are a couple of 1 map scenarios which are 2 turns and 2 hours ish looks about right for them - the counter density is low.

At the other end there are two full scenarios ("campaign" games of 6 turns) which the top end estimate would apply to. And there's a scenario which runs for turns 2-6 so obviously a bit shorter than the campaign.

The short scenarios strike me as really a way into the game or if you don't have much time.

Hope this helps.

The 6 Turn scenarios could take up to 10 hours depending on how many players there are and how fast they play, etc.

The two 6 turn scenarios are really 48 turns (activations) long, hence 10 hours, the 5 turn game less and the two 2 turn games roughly 2 hours each.

Each turn has 8 activation phases (10 if you count the 2 dummy chits).
