Hello,

My apologies as I would imagine this has been asked yet I couldn't find a definitive answer.

The rules say you can't trade the Clues, but I also don't recall it saying anything about using clues only on your tests. Can you therefore use them on other people's rolls?

Thanks,

Ryan

I would assume no. They go out of the way in the rules to prevent trading of clues. It just would not make sense to consider clues as being part of a single large pool that any investigator could use.

No. The rules allow you to use clues during a test. That means you cannot use them during someone else's test.

If you could, there'd be no reason to give clues to particular investigators. You'd be better off just having a central pool from which they can be spent.

It would also kill stuff like Jenny Barnes' ability which requires her to have no clues.
