Stealth attachment requires 1 accuracy for a melee attack to hit. If the melee is adjacent with reach, does this nullify the range requirement since the attack can hit 1 space further.

Basically, does reach = 1 accuracy while adjacent or does it not affect the ability to hit a target besides decided who is an eligible target for attack.

Reach only affects which targets are valid target to attack with that Melee weapon. It does not modify the required Accuracy that Stealth applies.

To explain, accuracy isn't really generally used with melee attacks. It's not that they require 0 accuracy, it's just that accuracy isn't even a usually a relevant term for it. After all, it's certainly possible to roll accuracy numbers on the dice for melee attacks- that doesn't mean the range for the attack increases.

Reach doesn't add an accuracy to melee attacks. It does add range- specifically, one space of it.

I'd say against stealth, you'd need +1 accuracy regardless of whether you were adjacent or one space away.

This is correct.

Incidentally, most Melee weapons automatically roll Accuracy (as both the blue and green dice have Accuracy on every face). Thus, Stealth isn't very useful unless you are also Hidden or have another way to reduce Accuracy of your opponent's rolls.

It's easy to roll no accuracy with red and yellow. Or with red red. It may be impossible to hit with a red red attack that needs 1 accuracy.

Take a look through the available Melee weapons and you'll find a significant lack of such weapons.

Gaffi Stick is red+yellow. It is very effective otherwise, so some other hero can attack the group with Stealth.
