Beneath this mask there is an idea.....and ideas are bulletproof.

I was thinking of picking up one of the Playmats and the Straywood one looked good - at least in the online pictures, however I read on a couple of threads that they weren't well printed and that the colours were 'odd'.

Anyone got or seen one of these mats and what was your impression?

I've played on one - it's quite a bright green compared to the cardboard version.

I like the Straywood on cardboard, but it's my least favourite rollmat. Least favourite is not bad however...

Thanks....by 'bright' do you mean 'vibrant' or 'garish' ?

I have the dungeon/stone arena playmat (the original board) it is certainly brighter then the actual board, however that's not a bad thing. I really... REALLY like the play mat instead of the board. I have my cards sleeved and they slide very nice on the mat, and the mat gives everything a higher quality feel.

I ended up picking up the Salenia playmat and they are great to play on.
