I assume that even on the rounds where you are only placing your opponents pieces, that you still do a harvest, draw a weapon, get income, get bonuses and feast for yourself. Correct?

Also, I'm early on here, but I'm not seeing how placing the opponents pieces every other round is that big of a hindrance. You can just dump 3/4 of them onto spaces that you have no intention of going, anyway. Or am I missing something there?

Ha. Duh. That makes much more sense.

I'm used to playing solo games that have an Automa opponent that you do things for, so that's what threw me off with the extra color.

I'm used to playing solo games that have an Automa opponent that you do things for, so that's what threw me off with the extra color.

I've played a couple of those as well. Hopefully you'll find Feast for Odin is a unique change from that. I'm an Automa fan, but Odin provides more of a puzzle since you have to optimize for what will be blocked next round, and they may be spaces you actually wanted.

Yes, I'm loving it so far. Especially now that I'm playing it right.
