He has some points, but he misses the mark by saying that people don't believe Trump will be bad for women because he won't rape them personally.

That's not how people think about stuff. Trump does not appear to be someone who will stand for the rights of rape victims.

Clinton will stand for the rights of rape victims as long as her husband didn't do it, apparently. People espouse this and think that way, I think.

And saying "horn-dog" vs. "sexual assaulter" is bullshit.

The two reasons Obama got elected:

Failing economy (fear of financial ruin)

Continuous Middle East wars (fear of continual Middle East wars)

It really weirdly feels like you're doing a victory lap regarding Trump's recent gains.

You're not actually crazy, right? You do understand that while you might not like Hillary or any democrat, electing a populist would-be dictator who has openly talked about exiting the treaty obligations that have created the longest period of peace in the western world in human history, limiting the vital protections of the free press because sometimes they say mean things about him, jailing his political enemies etc., etc., is bad regardless of party identity.

If 10 years from now we're celebrating the 10th anniversary of "dear leader" Trump, Russia has reformed the USSR and we're putting muslims in camps, are you going to feel like "ha ha but at least that lady who seemed bossy to me and who I disagreed with about health care didn't get to be president!"

Yeah, you need to pay attention to what's being said instead of what you imagine is being said.

*MOCK* 'elections' were being "cancelled" on account of what TRUMP espouses, and even little kids are now becoming SUCH as HIM?!? shake

Clinton mocked a 12 year old rape victim and got the man who raped her off. She also called the victims of that one Republican Senator who was on her side with her health care task force back in the 90's "whiny women" because she needed him to advance her quest for power at the time. It has little to do with the rape victims of her husband, and a lot to do with the women she perceives as being between her and the power she desires.

BJ... defender of rape victims.

Whereas everyone knows she's a fully-compromised, bought-and-paid for corporatist candidate who will do as her biggest Wall Street and War Profiteer donors ask, and whose tenure as Secretary of State saw the rise of ISIS and her own disastrous war of choice in Libya.

As I think we've said a million times, she is precisely the candidate that the Democrats have always accused Republicans of being: a corporatist warmonger.

(And that doesn't even begin to address her criminal actions.)

But she has that "D" after her name, so the yellow dogs remain loyal.

Or to put it another way:

Democrats 2000, 2004: "DON'T VOTE FOR THE CORPORATIST WARMONGER!

Democrats 2016: "VOTE FOR THE CORPORATIST WARMONGER!"

This isn't wrong.

Clinton is hawkish and corrupt, and that's why many people are rightly unenthusiastic about her. But when the other mainstream choice is a petty tyrant who has repeatedly talked about his interest in using nukes, I think people are rightly still preferring Clinton's comparatively less terrifying hawkishness to a possible Trumpocalypse.

And likewise corporate-wise, Clinton may be beholden to some special interests, but Trump *IS* a special interest, with a litany of ways he has used any power he has to direct money to himself at the expense of others, with no reason to believe this would magically cease rather than increase if he took the presidency.

(I'm still leaning Gary Johnson, myself, but I'd take Clinton over Trump any day of the week and twice on Sundays)

Yeah I don't like Clinton and I think she has a ton of problems as a candidate but if you think Trump isn't worse, I really have no idea what you've been paying attention to.

Do you really think that a guy who has been running as "smug, would be dictator" for six months will transform overnight into something fit to be president? I can't imagine what you are seeing that would allow you to believe that.

When demagogues can't fulfill their promises, they scapegoat and start race wars. They cancel elections. They shut down the press. They jail their enemies.

These are all literally things he is promising to do as candidate. It's not going to get better. It's going to get much, much worse if he becomes president.
