Organising our usual office KK. Around ~16 people involved. These are my rules, but wondering if anyone has ideas to spice it up. Looking to add some fresh twists.
I have a bonus 'Donald Trump Art of the Deal' boardgame to give away. Was thinking of having an vote to award the person who stole the most, or got stolen the most from, or ended up with the worst gift as per popular vote with the game.
Kris Kringle Rules
1 - Bring a wrapped unisex gift, close to $30 in value. Do not identify the gifts (no names). Gifts will be placed together on a table or suitable place.
2 – Everyone will randomly receive a number.
3 – A round begins by calling a new number, starting with player #1.
4 – The first (#1) player chooses and opens a gift from the table, keeping it.
5 – The second and each subsequent player takes a gift from the table, opening if necessary. This player then has the option to steal a gift from another player, or keep the gift that was chosen from the table.
6 - If a player has a gift stolen from them, then they have to steal another gift from another player, or take an open gift from the table.
7 - The most number of steals there can be in a round is three. If a player is the third player to have her gift stolen in a round, she must take a gift from the table.
8 – Player #1 will have another turn after the final person called, to compensate for having no options in the gifts they get to see in the first round.
