I would like to know which planes will come in this game.
Will there be B-17s in the different versions????
And/or Lancasters?

Will the rules be uploaded here too as with the first game?

Added an EDIT reg. Variants and yes, I believe the PDF of the rules will be accessible here, as is the case with Wing Leader: Victories 1940-1942. Of course with any subsequent files required (should they be needed).

Lee is perfect in supporting his games

Thanks for reminding me about the v2.0 rules. I shall try to post them up over the weekend.

In the meantime they are available at my website here: http://www.airbattle.co.uk/w_downloads.html

As for B-17s, the ADC covers both the F and G variants.

Yeah, wanted also to list Variants, but there are too many combined for all ADCs, so just went the "most of them contain Variants" route

The ADC does not list any Variants for La-5FN.
Checking real-life La-7 stats I am not sure that it differs from La-5FN that much, except for slightly higher speed.

And Lee would be the correct person to say if any stat adjustments would be warranted for La-7, or if you can basically use it as-is for La-5FN and La-7.

There won't be an La-7 ADC in Supremacy. However, in my archive of 80+ unpublished ADCs I do have the La-7. My plan is to publish all this material in .pdf form at some point. And I certainly hope that the la-7 will get an official release in a future expansion set.

I've posted the v2.0 rules up on the Wing Leader: Victories page. I'm not BGG savvy-enough to know whether I have to post those separately here on the Supremacy page or whether the files could be linked to this page.

Let me check...

EDIT: It is not possible to cross-link files, only images... So you should also post the rules under Supremacy.

BTW, I initiated the creation of the "Wing Leader" boardgame family, so that all the games and future expansions can be grouped under it.

Just to note, I moved the Romanian planes into "Axis" (D'oh!), added Bf 109G to Romania, as well as Mustang to Britain and reordered all the planes alphabetically in each country.

Updated the game page Wiki section like that as well.

So there, now, clean as polish!

I've just uploaded the rules and player aids to the Supremacy page. I'm not waiting for the moderators to release them.

There is a pretty obvious reason for that... hint: have a look at "Nightfighter"...

Are there no night bombers or fighters in any of the games then?

I'd guess the reason is that in Wing Leader generally a scenario has multiple squadrons per side that are moving and fighting as formations. That doesn't really work so well for nightbombing/nightfighter combat.

Yeah, wanted to add "there are no scenarios for nightfighting in Wing Leader".

I think the answer was not so useless, but you have to know that Lee has also done a "Nightfighter" game. I did know, so saw the clue...

Is that an entire other game or a file we shall look for?
Why not just give us a link???

There will be no nightfighting in Wing Leader, I'm afraid. Nightfighting was very much about individual duels between interceptors and raiders, rather than the formation fighting we see in day combat, so the scale is off.

That said, It's entirely possible we may be able to feature Lancasters in a future expansion. Lancs were used in day bombing in the late war and it would be good to feature an interception of an RAF daylight raid, escorted by British Mustangs.

If you want a game on nightfighting, you might want to try this game that I made (it has HEAPS of Lancaster counters):

https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/33924/nightfighter

Or this other one I made:

https://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/27101/bomber-command

Or this somewhat lighter title (I didn't make this one):
