maybe some others have done the same, but here are 4 that i made. a few of them intended for big crowds.

TRIPLE TROUBLE (3 players)
everyone picks 3 luchadores for their team. this can be done randomly by flipping everyone over, or a draft. each player sets his luchadores order 1, 2, and 3 (again either their choice or random). the 1st luchador for each player starts out in a standard 3-way free for all match. when a luchador is eliminated, that player gets to bring in his next luchador. the other 2 players continue with their same luchador at their same health. so if you have one guy at 6, one guy at 5 and one guy eliminated, the next round will start at 6, 5, and 21 (2nd luchador for that team). there are no tags, a luchador stays in the ring until he is eliminated. when 2 full teams are eliminated, the match is over and the surviving team wins.

Alternate Rules
2 players with 4 luchadores each. i find this better than playing a best of 5 or best of 7. it evens things out since you're not starting fresh after each match. and you get to use more luchadores! you could also play a 4 way with each player having 2 luchadores.

SURVIVOR SERIES (2, 4, or 8 players, works best with 4)
straight from the WWE playbook, a 4 on 4 elimination tag match. plays just like a tag match but you can tag in any member of your team that is still remaining. when playing 4 players, partners alternate in and out rather than controlling a specific luchador. first team to eliminate their entire opposing team wins the match. a teammate may try to get into the ring and break up a pin by announcing they are going for a break up and rolling one pin die. if they get a no pin result then the break up is successful and the pin is void. there is a maximum of one successful break up per fall (i play like this in any tag match, as that is the rules in a real wrestling match).

Alternate Rules
3 teams of 3 with 3 players. similar to the triple trouble option but this would be with tagging in and out. or you could do 4 teams of 2 players where both members of a team need to be eliminated.

REY DEL RING (4 or 8 players)
this is an 8 luchador bracket style one night tournament. one luchador needs to win 3 consecutive matches with limited rest. with 4 players, everyone gets to control 2 luchadores. the bracket can be randomly made by drawing cards, combat discs or using a list randomizer. with 4 players, make sure each player has 1 luchador on each side of the bracket so that he doesn't have to face himself. matches are standard 1 vs. 1 with the winner moving on to the next round. but since the concept of this is a one night affair, the luchadores will tire out as the tournament progresses. if a luchador wins his 1st round match with 17 health or higher, they get to keep it right where it is. if it is 11-16, they start at 16. if it is 10 or less they get a +5 boost while in their "rest period". (so if someone wins their match with 4 points left, they start the next round with 9. if they win with 15 left, they start with 16.) the 2nd round is handled the same way but with a lower max. if a luchador wins their 2nd round match with 11 or higher, they get to keep it right where it is. if it is 6-10, they start at 11. if it is 5 or less they get a +5 boost while in their "rest period". 3rd round is the finals. winner of that match is crowned as el rey del ring and gets a championship match!

Alternate Rules
you can assume that every match is just as taxing as any other and everyone gets equal resting time. everyone automatically starts round 2 with 16 points. finalists automatically start the tournament final with 11 points.

8-WAY BATTLE ROYAL (8 players, or you could do 6 or 7 i guess)
8 players in the match at the same time. works best with 2 full game setups next to each other. to start the round, all 8 players draw a disc. numbers 8 through 5 roll in ring one and play out their round exactly as they would in a 4 way free for all. numbers 4 through 1 roll in ring two and play out their round. when everything is done, you start the next round by drawing discs again. the action is assumed to be taking place all in one ring, so you might see the same opponents multiple times in a row, you might go 5 rounds without seeing someone. a luchador is eliminated like he normally would be. when down to 7 players, eliminate disc #8. discs 7 through 4 roll in ring one, discs 3 through 1 roll in ring two with just three luchadores. when down to 6 you do the same thing but make it 3 in each ring. when down to 5 it's your choice, you can attempt to play all 5 in one ring, or do 3 in ring one and 2 in ring two. when down to 4 it plays out like a free for all elimination would.

Alternate Rules
less confusion here. play simultaneous 4 way free for alls. make sure it is round for round play so that one board isn't going faster than the other. when down to 2 in a ring, those guys get to wait for the other ring to be down to 2. when down to 2 in both rings, luchadores come together for the final free for all.
