Define it how you want, but which ONE is your favorite?

I love Empire Engine! It is a beautiful little game. Plays fast, fits in your pocket, and requires a bit of tactics and strategy.

Fleet with Fleet: Arctic Bounty as both fit in the same box.
Good with 2 + players and even plays very well solo.

Love letter is not only my favorite micro game, it is also one of my favorite games of any type. As a guy who loves complex 2 hour euro games, this one stands out. With tiny elements of luck, deduction, direct conflict and with player elimination I have a hard time even describing why i love it. I guess its Just a charming little game that never fails to cheer me up.

Probably Hey, That's My Fish!. It's got a very inviting look to it with easy to understand gameplay, but also manages to be cutthroat AF. Biggest downside is that it takes about as much time to set up the board as it does to play.

I also like Flash Duel: Revised Second Edition a lot.

Depends on how we define "micro-game"...

If it's solely by the low component count and portability...
Then Hive Pocket is the best one there is.

Dead Drop - quick, simple to learn and play, awesome artwork and just a brilliant deduction game all 'round.
