I mean in the basic sets or the minis

My daughter who is almost 4 is a plane fanatic, and once she saw the colourful Central powers planes she was wondering if any were pink.

If there are, which set do I have to procure

thanks

Yes, because shooting Daddy down from a gray Albatross D.Va isn't ladylike. This one is kinda girly, what do you think:

I looked through my plane cards for Burning Drachens and Watch Your Back and didn't find any pink ones. C'mon, these are fighter jocks. Would Tom Cruise fly a pink F-14?

I think you want Ersnt Udet's Fokker Vii. Red candy stripes... it's kinda pink.

Alternatively wait for WoW for the WW2 set. There was a recon unit that flew pink Spitfires! (not sure they'll be in the game tho)

No Tomsky, no pink Spitfires in the game... yet! But thanks a lot for telling me. I hastly wrote to Auletta, our artists, and maybe we will have this bird

in the very first Squadron Pack!

I am sorry but I fear that we have no pink planes yet. Pink is not a warlike color, so I think there are no planes of that color. No real pink. I saw a pink SS: D.III or D.IV somewhere but ut's not in the plans.

The most pinkish plane we have is a very pale pink Lithuanian D.VII that you can see in Top Fighters (it was a bit more pinkish in the original drawing), and there is a tannish/pinkish Sopwith Triplane in Famous Aces (but mostly tannish I'd say). A Roland two-seater in Recon Patrol is camouflaged in green and mauve, and that mauve is a kind of dark pink. But I can not say if your little girl could like it.

If you find a permanent felt pen of pink color, you can try painting Goering's D.VII in Top Fighters, or the white Halberstadt D.III or the pale gray SS D.I in Burning Drachens, but I can not tell that it will go well.

If she likes little hearts instead, there is Ellwood's Camel in Famous Aces:

It is also one of the miniatures. A little heart is also on Barker's miniature:

(this picture is a prototype, the final one is better), but it can not be seen on the card.

Thanks for taking our game!

Andrea

Read the rulebook, plan for all contingencies, and…read the rulebook again.

Looks there are some pretty official answers here, Robert. Maybe you can track down a 1/144 scale metal miniature of her favorite WWI biplane and have a friend who's into miniatures gaming paint it pink with some authentic markings.

Otherwise, the Albatross in the Mardi Gras colors (yellow, green, and purple) ain't a bad second choice.

Thanks all

actually her favourite planes are Mitsubishis, Nakajimas and Mustangs

she calls biplanes *baby planes* ( no idea why)

I think Ill take the leap and get the games and see if I can find any minis , as I can repaint them if required

If you want to know why she is obsessed with Pink planes, look at this

from the flight sim IL2

There are a couple of very elegant Hayabusa and a couple of Zero in the "Dawn of War" box, but nothing pink alas...

I think it's a great joke by her! And after all the airplane was born biplane (think of that beach at Kitty Hawk) and then grew up monoplane. True in general and also for some specific birds: I am thinking of the Fiat Cr42 evolving somehow (I am not a technician) in Fiat G.50, or the Russian i.15 and the i.16.

Alas the link to the image is broken. For those wanting to try somehow, the url is http://www.darts-page.com/files/kitty.jpg

Can you please send me the image by email, if you have it? I'm curious...

Happy everything!
