Hello, Could you post a image example for the maintenace scoring?

Hi,

see the attached example.

Assume, at the end of the game, the red player has 3 colonies (A, C and F), one outpost (C), 2 space stations (B, D), and a mission (E). His space ship has a range of 3 (sum of all drive markers) and is at position S.

For the maintenance score, you count A, B, C, D, E. They can all be reached from another element with a maximum of 3 steps (pink lines). This would make a "cluster" of 5. However, C is on an outpost, so it counts twice. Final count is therefore 6. F is to far out, it takes at least 4 steps to reach it (grey line), but the range is only 3.

You now compare these counts for all players - the player with the biggest cluster gets 6 points, the next biggest gets 4 points etc.

Note that the space ship S would bring the colony F into range (2 steps to E and F). However, the space ship does not matter in the maintenance scoring. Hence, F doesn't count either.
