Hey all.

1.) I have a question. On the Hideout map 1 there is the square C12.

Around this square are blocking obstacles. When you move the Innkepper via the Sprint action into this square, is he save against any attacks?

I think he is because the ----- borders block LOS. So even adjacent Chi´leens should not be able to attack him.


2.) Does the Innkepper token block a hole in any wheel spoke or not? So could he do a rest action even if any other hero peg already occupies it?


Thanks. Love this game by the way. It is so hard. Awesome. Three attempts yesterday and three losses. Heroes on HARD and monster stats on HARD.

1.) Yes, he is save, but he cannot attack either.

2.) The token you use in Hero wheel for Innkeeper follows the same rules as any Hero peg. So if it is occupied, he skips the rest spoke.

Thanks to you! It is so hard when you play with hard rules, as they are meant to be hard

By the way: Square C12 has 4 boarders with -----. Does that mean that it is possible to walk onto the walls from this space?

Crossing those borders takes 5 AP. But you're correct that you should not go in to the wall. I think it would have been even more confusing
if we would have left those horizontal 5 AP markers out.

The idea is that you can crawl through chimney (which is 5 + 5 AP movement), but in many occasions has proven to be useful.

Indeed. It is a life saver for the innkeeper.

But man is H1 tough. We tried it 8 times now (heroes on hard, monsters on hard) and we got crushed every time.

I so love this game.

Please for future installments - do not make it easier or more casual.

It is SOOOO awesome. devildevildevil

Thanks for the compliments. We try our best to keep the difficulty "hard enough".

Do keep in mind that you CAN play the game also on standard
Hard is intended to be just that - hard.

On H1 you should never forget aiding of the innkeeper. Yes, you can aid him (or any other NPC, for that matter). That might not be obvious, but it might be the difference between winning and losing.
