Hi,

Yesterday I've played a sample turn to get the hang of the rules and we felt that isn't much to do in the 5 actions rounds after you lose or win the headline. With 2 actions we put the heroes in the district and troubleshoot. The other 3 actions we spent in the story track...seems to little.

What's your suggestions?

It's much more about resource management and decisions in combat, not the actions on your turn.

Under normal circumstances (final round usually the exception), at least three of the actions you want to take are Move (Ready+Support to a Headline), Troubleshoot and Move (Ready Hero back to HQ assuming you won the Headline). That way you're getting 4 Plot Points at least next turn and don't have to pay to keep the Ready Hero out. Plus, once back at HQ for the next round, you can make the Ready Hero from the previous turn a Support hero, if you keep him on the board, you can only pay to keep him Ready (and don't get a PP for him either) or bump him back to HQ to idle for a round.

Last of the two remaining actions generally for me is a Support action of a Support Hero used on a Headline. Each team has at least one solid Support Hero action, Iron Man/Hulk for Avengers, Jean/Wolverine for X-Men, Spidey/Strange for Marvel Knights (could even use one of them Ready, then use an Energies card later that turn as an Action to use their Support Hero ability), Thing/Mr. Fantastic for F4. Sometimes (say Jean + Wolverine both on Support), could even do two Support Hero actions. Final action tends to be Story Action or playing a Resource card that takes an Action. Not forgetting a Healing Action for heroes KOd, which happens. Absolute worst case scenario, take a move action to move a Support Hero to HQ (which basically is the same as passing).

For rounds that are guaranteed to be the final round of the game (scenarios with set round counts), final round could be Move + TS with one pair, Card/Story Action, Move + TS with another pair. In case you want to Troubleshoot with the same Ready Hero twice, it becomes Move + TS, Move (Ready Hero), Move (Support Hero, no free support move when a Ready Hero is already on the board), TS.
