Still have no idea why anyone supports this guy.

GOP has lost all integrity, except for the politicians that don't support him.

The video clearly shows what kind of alternate reality a large number of GOP candidates and followers live in. You can have your own opinions, but you can't have your own reality.

This is the art of the pathological liar. Just lie unapologetically. If someone accuses you of lying, double down on the lie, even in the face of incontrovertible evidence. Tell the lie more frequently, with an air of certainty that discredits your accuser and makes you seem really sincere.

And most importantly: tell dozens and dozens of different lies so that people will lose the will or motivation to question any of them.

Hold up a board supporting Trump at an Obama for Clinton rally. Result: a civics lesson.

Hold up a board supporting Clinton at a Trump rally. Result: roughed up.

(Both in the last few days.)

It's exactly this sort of thing that has baffled me the whole election. There's direct evidence contradicting what Trump says, but no one reacts to that in the traditional way, and he gets a pass on lie after lie after lie.

In the past, the Republicans have put up candidates that I didn't agree with: they proposed policies that I'm not in favor of, or had a voting record that was problematic to me, but I've at least recognized that they're capable of being President (both in ability and training/experience). This is the first time that I've seen a candidate who is just constitutionally incapable of being President: intellectually, morally, temperamentally he fails to meet the standard. Yet so many people are on board with him.

Trump supporters were kicking the shit out of someone who held up a protest sign and then (after the beating started), someone called out there was a gun and the secret service got involved.

Never delude yourself to the lengths that the human will go to deceive itself. On top of that, the Republican party have been masters are group think and control - without it, they would implode.

Which is exactly why it will fracture in two in the next several years - the intellectuals that understand this isn't sustainable will no longer abide, and they will be summarily cast out.

Exciting times.

They're jealous they couldn't be there, get their jackboots dirty.

It's OK, in two days, its all over for them. Then its time to put them back in their bottles.

Yes, no answer..... It's telling I guess....
This video, this is Trump being caught red-handed. That's October surprise grade, something as shocking as the Khan story, if not more.
Let's spread it, let's go and ask the media to show it, the more requests the more chances.
There is no way someone will vote for him after seing this.
Let's push this guy's score as low as possible.

Not a trumpist, (is that the latest leftist ism they've come up with?) But I'll give you that Obama is a smooth talker if you'll admit that there's millions more on food stamps, millions out of the work force, the average health care premium has increased $4000 per year rather than decrease he promised of $2500, and the median wage for black Americans is lower now than it was 8 years ago.

The evidence there is against you. Why is this pack of lies any different to the last too many to count packs of lies?

This explains why Obama's a smooth talker.

The question is not about Obama.
It is about Trump telling a story that has been recorded, and comparing what he says happened, and what happened in fact, as shown on tape.
What do you think about this?

Obama's a smooth talker because you can't explain Trump's behavior and instead deflected the question?

Great retort.
