Anyone know how to do anything like these or is there already a DIY for something like this? I have some battle foam, but would like to try something new like these pictures. Thanks

I know that this is done on a laser cutter. You could probably do something similar with a Forstner bit and drill press..but the holes may not be lined up as nice.

Yes this, you could probably find some nice thin ply at a hobby store to use.

1/4" Baltic Birch would work well for this and you'd want super sharp bits or you'll get tear out on the back of the board.
